Edmonds Harbor hosts Sea Jazz concerts at Edmonds Marina during the summer of 2021, with performances by students from Edmonds-Woodway and Mountlake Terrace high schools, as well as graduate musicians.
All concerts will take place in the public square in Edmonds Harbor (458 Admiral Way, behind Anthony’s restaurants) where you can enjoy both the view and jazz music. Bring a blanket for the small grassy hill or a lawn chair for the square.

Jazz Colony Big Band & Jams
Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Big band practices from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Jazz Colony Jams from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.)

This group includes students of Jazz Colony (musicians from Edmonds-Woodway High School who participate in summer live performances and professional musicians training).
From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., it’s the Jazz Colony Big Band rehearsal with EWHS Jazz Program Director Jake Bergevin.
5-7 p.m .: Jazz Colony Jam Sessions
During their last summer session on Wednesday August 25, the Jazz Colony Big Band will give a concert from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Deep Sea Jazz Jam Sessions includes a local host jazz band starting at 6:00 p.m., followed by a jam session starting at 7:00 p.m.
“Most of them are graduates of local colleges trained in music and they are excellent,” says Pete Bennett, coordinator of Sea Jazz and the Jazz Colony. This Friday’s host group is led by Andrew Sumabat, a graduate of Mountlake Terrace High and the University of Washington.
