The Winter Blues Jazz Festival returns to Williamsburg in 2022

WILLIAMSBURG – The Winter Blues Jazz Festival returns to the city of Williamsburg next month.

CultureFix, a local non-profit organization that helps organize and promote the arts and culture industry at local events, has announced that the four-day music festival will celebrate its 8th annual Winter Blues Jazz Festival. from January 13 to 15. , 2022. The festival will feature live music, food and drink at various locations in the region.

On Thursday, January 13, 2022, the festival kicks off at the Williamsburg Winery. The kickoff will feature award-winning jazz singer Tahira Clayton.

On Friday January 14, the Mixology and Music event will feature Good Shot Judy at Williamsburg Lodge. The Friday Night After Party event will take place at the Current Midtown Clubhouse and the evening event will feature Michael Hawkins and the Brotherhood.

On Saturday January 15th, The Big Bluesy will take place at Williamsburg Lodge. The event will feature two artists. One scene will feature Lurrie Bell and the other scene will feature Veronica Lewis. Saturday’s signature music festival event will host The Blind Boys of Alabama. To end on Saturday, The Saturday Late Night Speakeasy will take place at the Culture Café and will feature musician Micha Dovey.

On Sunday January 16 there will be a live musical performance from the Sidecar Social Club and a brunch menu offered at the Williamsburg Lodge.

The final performance of the music festival will be a concert at Williamsburg Lodge with Matt Fattal Big Band.
